I'm glad to see they have all this money to throw at these older players and not enough to pay for Jeff Kent. :bang:
Man, I thought only the Dodgers hired the elderly. I don't know how much the Big Cat has left.... or if he can stay healthy.

I'd say his tank is on empty. BUT he can't hit any worse the JT Snow. :D

It's only a minor league contract, so it definitely is not the end of the world. :D If Galaraga can't make the team, they're not out anything.
Galarraga, 41, hit .260 with nine home runs and 40 RBIs for Montreal last year. He made 72 starts at first base.
If he is added to the major league roster, he would get a $500,000, one-year contract and the chance to earn $100,000 in performance bonuses: $25,000 each for 200, 250, 300 and 350 plate appearances.
