I just got a new HD DVR on my HD tv and want to use my HR10-250 on an older, non-HD tv. I previously had a R10 connected to this television and it worked fine. It is an old tv so there is only coax input. I had the R10 connected to the tv through an adapter that let me also run my X-Box. I disconnected the R10 and couldn't connect the HR10-250 because there was on coax in on the back, only an antenna out. I bought an RF Modulator at Best Buy and it seems to work fine as the picture is fine, but the audio is horrible! Any suggestions?

It's probably a problem with the RF Modulator, or the RF Modulator in combination with your XBox adapter. Can you bypass the XBox adapter and connect the HR10 directly to the TV with just its RF Modulator?

As you probably know this is the worst possible way to connect anything if you want the best audio/video quality. Might be time for a new TV :)
