I finally received my new 722 this morning and I've been anticipating trying to use a UHF remote for TV1 since I had it installed in my utility room. I started a thread about a month ago on this issue and got several good replies. After trying many things and my Dish Net "Professional" installer saying there was NO WAY it will work, I found the following to work.
With my 6.0 Pro UHF remote from my old 622, I was able to program it to be used with my TV2 and my new 6.3 remote that came with my 722, I was able to program to be used with TV1. I heard many people comment that this is not possible, but it is. First of all, I took the key out of the 6.3 remote and moved the switch to the far right, then 1 click left (The key will have to remain out). I then pushed "system info" on the receiver, which shows what remotes are being used and with what type of frequency. I held down the SAT button until it blinked, then hit the record button and sure as s***, that's all it took.
