HR20-700 and HR21-600

I've got an old Phillips Series 2 TiVo in my office that I think is getting ready to die and I was thinking of getting a HR21-600 or HR21-700 (I'm guessing they are about the same) and putting that in my living room HT and moving the HR20-700 that is presently in my living room HT to the office to replace the TiVo. Are there any major differences between the HR21-600/700 and the HR20-700 that could cause problems that I need to be aware of? :confused:

1, there is no HR21-600. There is a HR21-700 and HR21-200 (the -600 is probably BestBuy screwing up the model #'s again).

Anyway, the only functional differences between the HR20 and HR21 is that the HR21 does not have a built-in OTA tuner (it will get an external OTA-tuner, the AM21, sometime later this year) and the HR21 has 2 ethernet ports, one of which works as a network switch so you can connect other networked components via the HR21.

The HR21 (-200 or -700) also has a coaxial digital audio output, which the HR20-700 lacks. The software (national release, not CE) is slightly behind that for the HR20, but that will probably change soon.

Yes, their web page is wrong. Their labels in the store are wrong. So are their receipts. Look at the box! It says HR21-700. I have two of them.

Device says -700

Best Buy says -600. I choose the device itself :)

It is either an HR21-700 or -200. There is no such thing as an HR21-600.

Best Buy always does that with their DirecTV receiver models.

It has been discussed here a few times.

Said before... there is no HR21-600, Best Buy has their own bizarro naming scheme. At one point they sold an "HR700-200" if I recall.
