Finally took the leap and replaced my 520/301 receivers with HD. After calling 3 different times, and getting 3 different prices for the upgrade I took advice from this site and sent an email to "CEO". A nice lady called back and I ordered a 722/222 replacement for my receivers. When the installer came, he said there was no package upgrade code for those two receivers, and thus they could not install them. After some phone tag with Dish, they decided they DID have a package upgrade code for a 722/622 upgrade, but I would have to pay $60 additional for the second receiver. He also said that since the 622 has been replaced, they would install a 722 instead. Sounded like a good deal, so now I have 2 of the 722 DVRs. Overkill, but kind of nice. One thing to report: After the installer finished with my installation he told me I made a good deal because about 1/2 of the 222 units they have installed have gone bad. I have no way of knowing if that is true. Anyway, HD is the way to go!
