Series Link recording Question

Hi All:

I am setting up series links on my HR21. However, most of my shows are in re-runs due to the writers strike. For instance, I usually record Grey's Anatomy @ 9:00 on Thursday night via channel 6.. Although they are in re-runs, can I still set-up a series link for Grey's on channel 6 (First run episodes) even though they are re-running the show on Friday versus Thursday?

I guess I am asking, is it channel specific versus when they actually air the show (first runs or repeats)?

You can set it up for First Run even though it's a rerun and it should pick up recording when the show comes back on the air as long as the guide info is accurate.
