HR20 receiver is most useful if 2 feeds are run from the dish to the receiver.
Is there a diplexer that would would push the 2 feeds through a single RG6 or worse RG59 cable?
Or at least from the 6x8 xwitch to the receiver.

There is going to be something called the SWM (S ingle W ire M ulitswitch) that is going to be available later this year that does this exact thing. If you do a search for it you will see more threads that go into greater depth.

The nature of a diplexer is to combine or separate two different bands of frequencies. Since the SAT feeds are the same band{s}, a diplexer won't work.
What would do what your are asking is a Single Wire Multi-switch [SWM], which is more like a pre-tuner and converts the signals to separate frequencies for each tuner.

Thank you - I'll hold off with the re-wire.

Since no one knows when this will be available nationwide I'd do the re-wire now if I were you.

I understand there is also suppose to be something called SWMLine (see Cutting Edge forum) that is the LNB combined with the SWM. It is suppose be available for residential installs sooner than the SWM-8. But who knows when it will be available. There are however some alternative source for the SWM 8.
