I noticed that ESPN is running promos for the new channel "coming March 30th". Any word if it is "coming" to Dish????

You may find out on March 30th, but not before. They would never announce anything in advance. It would hurt their image.

Charlie has mentioned it in a couple of chats. They must be in negotiations. I'd be surprised if it isn't on DISH when it starts up or soon after.

Dish is probably trying to come up with an HDTV package. If they get HD-NET, ESPN-HD, and TNT-HD they could put up a small HD sports package. Knowing E* they will not want to do a free package, they will want to make some money off HDTV. If the rumor is true and they are teaming up with R/L DBS (they resell R/L DBS HDTV and R/L DBS resells E* international), they could have a large HDTV package.
