Has anyone checked out the Guide listing for Center Ice channel 777-1? This might go back to the last time I took a Guide download, but what I would expect to be a listing of: “Upcoming: Thrashers @ Islanders HD” actually (at least on my two receivers) says: “Upcoming: Good Luck Chuck”


Maybe its only at my house, but I think one of DirecTV's employees is trying to tell their friend Chick something.


Take a look and let me know if anyone else see it.

On my local FSN 651-1 it shows "Upcoming: The Assassination Of Jesse James" Tuesday 2/19 11:30pm-2:10am. I think they're showing HD movies just to have something on the channel.

Actually, I think this is a guide data problem. I've seen a HD PPV movie show up on 647-1 (FSMW-HD) several times and have tried to record it a couple of times. The recording usually gets cancelled because the program isn't actually available at the time the recording is set for or it looks like it recorded but when you go to watch it, you may get the first few minutes and then you get a Searching for Authorization message and then it jumps all the way to the end of the movie credits. Very strange.

I believe it is because they are re-using PPV transponders for NHL CI games. The "sharing" doesn't seem to be working quite right on the guide!

I still believe its a joke between friends. The coincidence between the Thrashers, the Islanders and Chuck' is just too much.

I've noticed it too on my local RSN's.. 641 and 642.

I think they are just using different slots for the HD feeds. But then it mirrors back to the other channels. Something along that line.
