DVR 721 issues

I have a 721 and it is almost unwatchable. It wants to record everything you watch. Several times. I've removed the battery's from the remote. Even drove the remote a mile away. If I reboot it is ok for a day.
Anyone else having these flaky problems?

It's on it's own dish. No hardware changes have been made.

Try resetting to factory defaults and then run a check switch. I have never had this exact problem but resetting to factory defaults ahs corrected other goffy problems on my 721.

To get your 721 back to almost the way it was when you got it...

1. Menu->6 System Setup->5 Diagnostics
2. Info->Right->Left to get to Debug Status Screen

From Debug Status Screen :

Delete all Persistent Files plus recordings.
1. Info->Down->Up

Clear NVM Ram (Settings, favorites, checkswitch, etc)
1. MT+BT Button and then reboot.

EPG Data Delete (Delete all GUIDE files)
1. Info->Up->Down

Revert to Factory Code(Actually last downloaded software version)
1. Recall->PageDown->Up

I would try those in that order and see if that fixes your problem.
