Who'd have ever guessed that John Connor would have such rare blood and be able to help his uncle out like that? :sure:

The look at the events of the future is pretty cool though.

Since this thread looks to be the official one...can we get the 'S' removed out of Connor in the title?

Yeah, it's my last name and that S bugs me!

Intersting that John could get his blood tested during a house call. Nifty medical bag, eh?

This was a really good episode - much darker, more intense, and I approve of them making more like this.

Best line, and probably some foreshadowing: "Sometimes they go bad; no one knows why."

Also nice at the end that we got to see that Derek was the one that killed Andy Goode.

@#*I#$OIU$#% )$#%)*# blank Mythbusters marathons! Ate my recording of tonight's episode as it was higher in the prioritizer. (not any longer!)

Sigh, looks like I'll be Fox on Demand next week. :(

Okay, I am very confused.

What happened to Derek and the other prisoners when they went down into that basement? What was the bright light coming in the ceiling when they were chained to the floor? If it was just skynet flying around and doing recon, why was the light continually beaming directly down on them? Why were they just let go? :nono:

My recording was dark for the first 8 minutes and did some jumping around for the next 4 or so minutes after that. Settled down after the first 15. Not sure what was up with that. I didn't understand about the basement scenes either. Why did the machines leave them in the room?

He wasn't getting his blood tested... just typed. It would be a whole different matter to test it for various diseases and whatnot... but strictly to determine his blood type is not that sophisticated.

He had clearly already typed Derek's blood to know what type it was, in order to know it was different from Sarah (who probably just knew her blood type already). So typing John is just an extension of what he already had done for Derek.

This would have to be something you could do in the field in order to determine emergency blood supply for someone you find who needs blood before you could transport them back to the hospital.

I wonder why Cameron kept the processor from the dead T-888. Can she put her programing on it and clone herself? Is she following what John programed her to do or does she have her own agenda?

Derek shot Andy but who stole the chess machine? In the future did Andy tell Derek some of the other names of the group who built Skynet? He looked over at Andy before he was sent back and Andy gave him a knowing nod.

Well... since it was Derek who told Sarah that someone else had already shot Andy and stole the machine... it's entirely possible he was lying about the drives since he lied about having shot Andy.

Then again, they did leave the door open... but it's worth noting that in the clip they showed, Derek didn't look around to notice whether or not there were hard drives... he just shot Andy.. so either he had already stolen the drives OR he is telling the truth and someone else did, but he didn't actually look for them in the clip shown last night.. so there's still a bit of mystery on that point.

Perhaps to put some doubt out there? -"Sometimes they go bad; no one knows why."

What was the reasoning behind removing the skin from the T-888. Thermite would destroy the metal but not the flesh... didn't make sense unless she was just having to inventory the parts to make sure nothing else beside the hand was missing?

Grrr... I can't believe I missed this week's episode. I got sucked in to an episode of the Flava of Love and totally forgot about watching the Sarah Connor Chronicles. Yes, I know - I'm completely embarrassed. Maybe I can catch it online. It sounds like I missed a good one!

I could be wrong... but I just thought the flesh-removal was because the smell of burning flesh would be nasty... and could attract unwanted attention. I assumed she was going to dump the flesh somewhere else later.

Hey guys, you know what was really cool? Where they showed the guys chilling out in their undergroud hideout and that picture on wall showing a lion holding a terminator head in its mounth. How can I get that for an avatar?:D

Slingbox and screen cap. Perhaps someone with that setup can hook you up.

My thoughts are that it was Cameron and she was torturing them in some way. That's why he is totally freaked out by her. And this thought is strengthened by his reaction to her in the bunker, he definately knows her.

Just my guess.

That's what I originally thought too.

On this I tend to disagree. The timeframe doesn't quite fit plus if she just tortured him there is no way he would just accept her "reprogrammed" or not.

sarah told cameron to "find"the hand .... is cameron going to find it??

why were the machines so concerned with that jet engine??

Just as there were multiple copies of the Arnold terminators there's probably lots of the Cameron terminators running around. Who better to infiltrate human hideouts than a small female. They'd trigger the protective instincts of any male and most large strong males would dismiss a female of Cameron's size as a threat until it was too late.

Is she following what John programed her to do or does she have her own agenda? My theory is either that (a) she is going to build herself a child. She has the materials from an earlier episode and now the processor or (b) She is slowly moving back over to the dark side.

From the TitanTV listings next Monday's episode 0n 2/25 is titled "The Demon Hand" "Sarah breaks into Ellison's apartment in search of a missing cyborg arm." One thing looks like it might be interesting "Meanwhile, Cameron takes a ballet class that may lead her to the Turk."
After this episode on 3/3 there'll be a two hour T: SCC with two episodes back to back and that will be the last new one until they can write and film more. (Hope, Hope, Hope)

I'm pretty sure the "secret project" was Skynet building the first time machine to send Arnold back in the first Terminator movie from the mid 80s. And it was pretty clear this was also when John sent back Reese to protect Sarah, also in the first movie. So the future scenes were actually the setup to the first movie. Makes me want to pull out my DVD. I think Arnold says maybe 3 lines the whole movie. As for the jet engine, probably just parts for the time machine.

You know, I was wondering why Derek screamed "Metal!" when he first saw Cameron in the new bunker... How would he have known she was not human unless he had seen her in action? It makes sense if she was in the basement ...

CCR1958, where did you get that screen shot?

CCR1958 I worked on your shot of the mural in PhotoShop. After working 35 years as a stripper it only took 15 minutes to improve it a little bit.:D
