I have a dish network system to feed 4 receivers. My system consisted of a Quad LNBF, 1 Multi Switch, 4 SW-21s to receive programming from 3 SAT 110,119 & 148. I was told that I need 2 diplexers ( 1 outside and 1 inside). Does anybody know how to hook up the outdoor off-air antenna to this system? Thanks

Do you want ONE TV to get the OTA, or ALL the TV's to get the OTA ?
If just 1 TV - yes, you have everything you need. Connect the multiswitch to your 148 dish LNB, then run one output from this to an SW21 (along with a cable from the QUAD). On the run that is going to the OTA, put the diplexors between the receiver and the SW21 output.
If you want all 4 runs - not quite.
You would need a 1-to-4 way OTA splitter, and a pair of diplexors for each TV, each hooked up with the diplexors between the receiver and the SW21.
Some people would tell you that you could use the Multiswitch's OTA input, and get by with one diplexor for each TV. Well, IF you always changed to a channel on the 148 before going OTA, this would work (probably).

Scooper, Thanks for the information but I am still a little confuse.
Yes, I do want OTA for only 1 TV . This was what I did yesterday. I do have the Off-Air outdoor antenna cable to go to the 1st diplexer along with the cable from the Quad LNB. The output of this go to the SW-21 along with cable from the output of the Multi switch carry 148. Then the output of this SW-21 go into the house which I use the 2 diplexer to separte the Ant & Sat to the receiver. I tried to put my Silver Sensor from CC in the attic but I get no signal. Please let me know what have I done wrong ? Thanks.

The diplexor has to go AFTER all switches, so move the outdoors diplexor after the SW21 and it should work.

I've heard that the Terk42 antennas (clip on to dish) and diplexors result in signal loss ..does anyone know?
Also does anyone know if diplexors will work with the new DISHPRO Lnbs/switches?

Avoid Terk antennas like the Plague, they are totally useless, especially the clip-ons. As far as signal loss with a diplexor, if you buy a good quality one (not the $12 Radio Shack) it should not be an issue. I've tested my system with and without the diplexors in place and noticed no difference at all.
I would just run you antenna lead from the outdoor antenna to the antenna in connection on your satellite receiver. Forget about the diplexors. and then when you want to go to OTA from regular satellite signals just push the TV/video button. The switch will allow the off air signal to pass thru the receiver instead of the satellite signal......
