if you want to get a real kick, catch the original dragnet FILM with jack webb as friday, ben alexander as frank smith, and richard boone as the shift commander-it's a real gangbusters story and at one point, friday and smith just beat the bejebbers out of a room full of perps just for the heck of it-they even initiate the fight!!!!a real eye opener for dragnet fans who are only familier with the friday/gannon shows of the seventies and a pretty good and tough movie in it's own right...
