I'm getting another free upgrade (3rd) for my HR10 - unsolicited call from D* for free replacement (but I get to keep the HR10 because I own it). I already have an HR20 and HR21.
I'd like to use the HR10 in my RV. I know I can't get the MPEG4 channels with the HR10. But, will the HD national network feeds (80+) channels and HBO/Show (70+) still be available? If so, any plans to convert those as well?
D*'s already announced the west coast network feeds are going MPEG4 and told folks they need to convert. While they haven't officially said anything about the others the money is betting on it happening at some point when most MPEG2 receivers have been replaced.

Obviously the HD will disappear at some point, but you could use the HR10 until that point and then make the adjustment in your RV. Additionally, the HR10 should be able to receive OTA HD as well as SD from the sats .. That may be sufficient in your travels and you won't need to change anything for a while.
