DVR TO DVR

I have 2 dvr's in my house. Is there a way to transfer or copy from one to the other? (Like a movie)

I am new at this and it may be a dumb question, but I would like to know.

It is expected eventually for the HR2* series

Not a dumb question at all.

There is no way to transfer data from one DVR to another yet. When it happens, which will come at some point, you should be able to do it over a network like. It's likely you won't be moving the data from drive to drive, just using one DVR as a client to access the other drive.
