HD Upgrade Cable Run

Hope to be upgrading soon to HD and the 5LNB slimline. I preparing myself mentally for the likelihood the new dish will have to go on the roof. The current dish is just below the roof line. I'm hoping that the installer can use the existing cable runs. If that's not possible due to the new dish being placed slightly further, what will the installer do? New cable runs or try some cable splice/extension?:nono:

depends exactly on what is there now. HD really needs RG6 solid copper. if that is what is there, they will just extend it. if not. new cables

a High Quality Barrel connector, or switchblock and a new length of cable
