HD Tivo DVR and the cable in room "Help"

Im having this problem.
I have a Tivo HD DVR in my bedroom and when its hocked up I keep getting Sat1 error and it does not see it. I tried the setting to tell it there is 2 cables. But will not see both signels from the sat, just one signel it see. I moved the box to my living room and it works fine. Both Sat lines show up at 95.

I had a tech guy look at it last weeke, check the cable with his small box didnt say if the cable was bad or no signel. Just said something like my box is going bad.

What could be my problem, and will I need to call Directtv again and have another guy come out? :(

Obviously the DVR is not defective if it works fine at the other location. Something is wrong with the satellite feed to your bedroom. Check the cable back to the dish/multiswitch and be sure that all of the connectors are snug, dry and corrosion-free. And yes, you might want to have a better technician come fix the problem.

Do you have a DVR in the living room? Try connecting that DVR in your bedroom - if it works fine there, then it's likely a problem with the box. Doesn't work in the bedroom, cabling would be the culprit.
