how to get vod?

What do I need to get my computer hooked up to my HD DVR to recieve vod.
MY computer is on the 2nd floor and my HT is in the rec room(in the basement).Can this be done thruogh a wireless connection.Computer is a DELL Dimension 2400 with Broadband.:confused:

Your PC has nothing to do with DoD. You only need a PC if you want to use "Media Share".

You need a wireless router if you don't have one and you need a wireless adapter with an ethernet connection not USB.
