On my HR20, I recorded "The History of the Joke" on the History channel at 10PM last night.

I think this was happening during the reception (not just during the playback)

The screen is split horizontally in half, and the lower half seems to be delayd by about two seconds. The sound is in synch with the upper half.

Did anyone else see the show? Was this a problem with my DVR?

Has this happened to anyone else before?

Thanks!

I also saw this while trying to watch part of "The History of the Joke" live. I assume it was a problem with the transmission, and not with our equipment.

I saw that too. The bottom half of the screen was running about a second behind the top half.

I'm glad that it's not my equipment, but not happy that I can't really watch the darn program... I don't see it in the schedule again.

This may not be exactly relevant, but some years ago, E*'s Dishplayer model 7200
DVR developed an occasional, intermittent split-screen condition, but the image was
split vertically. IIRC, it was an unstable software download issue that got corrected
by a subsequent s/w update..
