I have a dual tuner receiver and currently have TV2 hooked up via coax in another room. However, I would like to move TV2 to a room that doesn't have a cable jack. Are there any good options for getting the signal there wirelessly?
I've seen several devices on the internet, such as the one from X10, that send video between two boxes that you buy. But all the ones I've seen take composite or s-video as an input. I know I could convert the NTSC uhf signal to s-video, but it seems like such a shame since it is already a broadcast format signal, just not quite strong enough. Any chance that just hooking an antenna to the output on my satellite receiver would yield a strong enough signal to travel 50 feet? Anyone know of a uhf signal booster/repeater type device I could find?
It may be possible for me to drop a new coax cable into that room, but it would involve sending it down a wall from the 2nd floor to the 1st floor, and I'd rather not if I can avoid it.
