I will be moving to another house next month and I currently receive both East and West coast SD DNS channels. I have a motorhome that I use one of my receivers in when away from home. I remember sending to DIRECTV my motorhome registration information years ago to receive DNS however the last time I talked to a CSR I was told I could receive DNS because I was grandfathered. So my question is if I go through "Movers Connection" will my DNS be taken away from me? If so should I consider paying to have the new antenna installed at my new house and then just submit a change of address? Will this allow me to keep DNS? Any other suggestions? Thanks.

if you're not moving out of the DMA (ie San Diego), I would just contract your own installer and save yourself a massive headache. any time you use the movers connection i believe you have to reapply for all waivers.

I'm moving to Nevada. Waivers don't matter as I believe I am "grandfathered."

No. Receiver is used at home then transferred to RV for use when not at home.

oh dear, that means you will not be able to get dns in the rv if you lose the networks

You're grandfathered only for the address at which you presently reside. Once you move, you will lose your DNS. I know two people to whom this happened, and they were both grandfathered since the late 1990s sometime.

That is correct. Once you move, you are no longer considered grandfathered.
