My HR20-700 is dying

I've had to RBR it 4 times in the last week because it's been unresponsive. My guess is the hard drive is starting to go.

Any suggestions before I call D*?

Might give us a little more info on the problem you are having does the picture just freeze up?? are you on the NR or running a CE ?? certian channel it does it on..how are your signal strengths?? anything that you can give will help the brains here help you trouble shoot....

I'm on the NR.

I haven't noticed a pattern.
Once it locked up after watching a recorded program.
Once it just wouldn't turn on.
Once it wouldn't change channels but the channel it was on was running fine.

Signal strengths are normal, my other HR20 and my HR21 have been running fine.

Every time it's been completely unresponsive to the remote and any front panel button pushes. I've always been able to get it back by doing a RBR. My wife just called because it wasn't working so I walked her through a RBR but she said it didn't do anything so I had her power off/on the UPS.
