Everything not showing in IE 7

all of a sudded about two weeks ago many of the ads on different web pages are no longer viewable on my PC. An example is the ad at the top of this page. I don't think I chnaged any of my settings. Anyone know how to get them showing again? Right now I get the "Internet Explore cannot display the webpage" message in the box where the ads should be.

As for how to avoid problems with IE7, it is probably best to use Firefox or go back to using the IE6 security risk waiting to happen.

Sorry, couldn't resist. Sounds like you have an issue with one or more of the following: Java, Flash, Shockwave or have you installed a new program lately that has anything to with graphics?

Couple things I would try.. if this happend recently I would use system restore to move the PC back to before it happened and see if that cures it.

If that failed, my next step would be to do fresh or repair installs of Java, Flash and Shockwave.
