View Full Version : Season Pass Not Recorded
No reboots on the DirecTiVo all week, as the clock and 30-second skip are still intact. On the other hand, the Survivor season pass did not record last night. (I set it as a backup to the HR20, which recorded it fine.) The explanation? Something to the effect of someone in the household modified the season pass. Not true. Never touched it. I don't know if this is a 6.3f snafu or not.
The bottom line is that the DirecTiVo simply cannot be trusted anymore. It's such a shame. :(

same here. HR20 recorded Survivor (2/21 episode), HD-Tivo didn't. this same problem has been happening on an doff for more than a year. its always been explained as a problem in the guide data that DirecTV sends out to the DirecTivo's.

This has happened every week (yes, every week) of the new Survivor season on the HR10-250. The show will be in the to-do list up to a few hours before it airs. But shortly before air time, it gets moved to history and the dreaded 'someone in your household...'. I've deleted the season pass and recreated. Still the same thing every week. And it's only happening on Survivor.
The last two weeks of Survivor recorded OK on the DirecTiVo via the Season Pass. (It's a Phillips SD.) I record it on there simply as a backup now.
Survivor has worked for me every time on the HR10-250 however other shows have just stopped recording for some reason. Even had 2 shows stop working on my HR20. In the case of the HR20 though I just deleted the series and after re-entry it started working again. With the HR10-250 no dice, I had to manual set the shows to record from the guide.
What stinks is the HR10-250 is the trusty backup and it isn't so trustworthy right now.

This is happening more and more. Now with both Letterman and Leno. I can delete the season pass for each and recreate. The shows never make it to the To Do list. All episodes won't record because 'someone in your house' blah, blah, blah.
