Just looked D* website and I'm being charged $2.16 for the HD Extra pack. I thought it was free for three months. I guess its time to call and cancel.

Can't you cancel programming right from the website? I thought you could.

It should be FREE for 3 months from the day you signed up. When the 3 months FREE ends the charge will be pro-rated based on your billing cycle.

Yes you can. On the redisgned website all you need to do is click remove by any servce or feature you wish to cancel. There is exceptions however, Premiums active for less than 30 days, sports packages (NFL, NBA, etc.).

For those of us with grandfathered packages, can we cancel HD extra on the website without changing our package to one of new ones?

The website recently wouldn't let me cancel Starz without changing my package from Total Choice Plus. I had to call to do it. This is one of the new "user-friendly" features of the website.
