slow channel response on hr 20 dvr

My hr 20-100 takes several seconds to change channels. My hr 10 changes almost instantly. Is this normal?

Do you know if you have "Native" turned on or off? This option is in setup.

If you have native turned on the the channels will change slower as the receiver changes to the resolution that is being broadcasted. You can go into setup and change the setting to "Native Off" and set the resolution on the front of the receiver to whatever best matches your set or looks best to you.

You're just going to have to go and makes some changes and test and see what works for you. What works for some may not work for others. The delay can be annoying.

If your used to a traditional Tivo DVR get used to things being a bit slower. I have two HR21's and am getting used to channel changes being a little slow (1-2 seconds on avg).
