As noted in another thread, my dish got moved pretty badly by the winds here last night.
I reset my HR21-700, and it now won't get past the piece where it is seaching for signals. I just want to get it set to watch recorded shows.
Is there any way to get the HR21-700 to bypass this and just let me watch shows? What happens if I disconnect the input cables?
Thanks!

Not sure if the current HR21-700 software supports this. Check out this thread in the HR20/HR21 Forum ....

I'll be darned. I did a RBR. I waited a while and pressed LIST and the list came up this time. I am running the latest CE from Friday night (I can't post the version since I can't get to System Info)!
Now I have to find someone who can realign the dish...
Thanks!

you can also get to the signal meters that way.. if you can reach your dish you might be able to get it back...

The dish is on a pole. No problem reaching it. I can't figure out how to get the Azimuth (230 degrees) set properly... Elevation and Skew/tilt look fine.
