Question about SWM Install

I bought a SWM5. Here's what I'm thinking of doing...

SWM1->Power Inserter->4-way splitter
Leave SWM2 terminated.

The 4-way splitter would connect to the 4 jacks throughout the house.

I'm only going to have one HR-20 right now. Right now the SWM is to keep things neat and to simplify things down the line. Is it okay to have the rest of those lines hooked up to the splitter but not in use? Should I forego the splitter for now and worry about that later?

Welcome to DBSTalk

The splitter if fine but I would not use it until you need it. Just run the line from the out on the PI to the HR20 for now. Then add the splitter in later when you need it.
