Has anyone thought about how nice it would be if all the threads dedicated to a single channel were all put in one sub-forum. Single threads pop up to discuss an issue or show and I know that you have to go looking for them, and with all the threads, specific channel threads could be hard to find.

So if there were a sub-forum that held all those threads, it would be easier for them to be found.

Just an idea. Pros? Cons? Thoughts?

Problems with a "show" should probably be in the TV Talk area, about the specific program.

If there is an issue with a channel, it is probably a point in time... and thus maintaining it in a single thread, we may lose historical context of it... and just lose the "urgency" of the situation, if people are not regularrly reading that sub-forum.

The threads we started for the single channel, where intended for the release weeks, to keep the general initial channel discussions from having a 100 different places.

I thought they were as well, but they seem to bubble up to the front page anyway. And I do see the point of them getting buried in a sub-forum and never seen.

I'd like to see something actually. There are way too many channels for one forum imho. At least a separate group for the sports subscriptions would be nice. Right now I just look at the first page and if I don't see an interesting thread I move on, but there probably are some things I'd be interested in that are just buried right now.

Programs and shows... should be discussed in the TV Talk area.

Mostly what we should here, are "packages", special events, new channels... announcements.... Anything due to programming.

The same problem with things getting burried woudl happen with sub-forums.
