Static noise on GSN

Lately I have noticed annoying static in the audio of the Game Show Network Channel over Dish Network. Is anyone else experiencing this and what is causing it?

I don't think its my receiver or hookup because I have not experienced this with any other channels. Could this be dish going over the limit on compression for that channel? I know they have to be using more compression than ever on channels in order to make room for the new locals and any other new channels they put up.

What should I do about this. I watch this channel a lot and I'm not real happy about the quality of it.

The problem you identified on Sunday was indeed identified by our Operations
Team, a discrepancy ticket was issued and engineering took actions to
correct the audio problem. We have had confirmation that this issue was
resolved. I'm sure you're aware that some of the programming airing on this
channel is from older tapes so the A/V quality may be somewhat degraded. If
you are still hearing problems please let us know. We are attaching a form
which you can complete that will assist us with any specific A/V problems
you may encounter.
