New 61.5

Just got a 61.5 pointing dish.  I now get some weird International preview channel and it seems that both Israel Network and TVJapan are "free" sometimes and not others..anyone know why this is?

There is a lot of International programming on 61.5 and sometimes it comes through free.

hehe - cuz they are in a Free Preview Mode (those 2 ones),
and the weird one is exactly what you said the International channels Preview channel...

For the rest you' d have to pay :-)

I think ZeeTV is free right now. That's a steal for some of my customers.

TV Japan has some free to air programming, mostly news and weather programs.

TVJapan's newscasts and some of their original public affairs programing are FTA all the time. If you do not speak Japanese, some of the newscast have English as SAP (click on "Japanese" in the receiver's menu for alternate audio).

You sure? Only free international channel I'm getting right now is TVJapan showing 'Good Morning Japan'
