When a game is only broadcast by a local station, as opposed to a RSN or somesuch, does Extra Innings pick it up? I'm wondering if Extra Innings subscribers get to see the WPIX Mets games, for example.

Don't know about this year; but last year it was only the Fox Sports Net channels that were included. Also YES Network and the other cable sports nets are part of EI.

The teams that don't participate are the Padres (Cox 4), Phillies (Comcast Philly), Bluejays & Expos.

Not sure about the Royals this year; I'm guessing they are no longer on Fox Sports Midwest.

Last year the Met games on WPIX were shown the day after at Noon eastern in the clear.....Yanks games on CBS2 are shown immediately after the postgame show in YES also in the clear.

From MLB: "The Royals Television Network, L.L.C. (RTN) begins its first season of operation in 2003. The RTN will distribute 100 regular season Royals telecasts to participating cable operators and satellite providers throughout the Royals' six-state television territory (Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Oklahoma and Arkansas)."

Dunno whether that means the Royals will or won't be in EI. I suppose I can wait to see the EI schedule someplace.
