View Full Version : Caller ID Issues - HR21-700
Hi there,
I have an HR21-700 and my caller ID was working fine until about a week ago. Since then the Caller ID works sporadically. I just received 2 calls and none of them were displayed by my HR21-700 Caller ID and were not displayed on the list. However, when looking at the Caller ID list, I see some calls have gotten through in the past few days.
I am thinking that perhaps the NR 206 software update could be the culprit, but not sure. Anyone else having Caller ID issues?

Mine stopped working also. It was working fine until about a week and half ago.
Caller ID stopped working on my HR20-100!

My caller id is not working. HR20-100. I wonder if there are differences in caller id types and that is why the problem is not more widespread ?
CID is working fine on my HR21-700.

Not working on my HR20-700, and I've verified it's enabled in the menu. Has anyone having this issue set their box up to do the "daily calls" over the internet instead of via phone line? This option was added in one of the last two national releases. Just got to thinking that might have something to do with it. I'll try switching mine back and see if CallerID works again.

I should have search. Post 25 of this thread says that a menu reset will fix the caller ID problem. Will try it tonight.

The reset fixed the problem

Dumb question - what's a menu reset? Is it turning caller ID off and then turning it back on?
