Got to see my Yankees....bye dish.........Can someone please adivse me on this lnb.
Been hearing about problems with the phase 3 lnb that when it gets cold (below 20') there is a loss of signal due to a problem with the 22 khz signal feeding a receiver.
I have some info on my lnb if someone can tell me if I may come across any problems:
"Thompson stock #258678
Triple feed Multi satellite Lnb
Model # 150946
Lot # 0103"
There is a white tab on the casing which reads "REV: 1 12303"
So will I have a problem when it gets to cold or am I safe?
Thanks again....rolou21

Hard to say - I'm having problems with mine that I installed last Oct. My model# DSA8900H code# 3A014 serial# C4263W010 thats the info I have from the box it came in! Didn't discover problem till it was cold outside, in the single digits. Talked to RCA yesterday & all they would do is give me name & number of a service center in my area that could fix the multi-switch inside the LNB & that I would have to pay for labor which is only covered for 90 days, but parts would be covered for a year! Over on the avsforum.com in the HDTV Hardware forum there seems to be alot of discussion of it seems to be a problem with alot of these dishes - it depends on what is tuned on each receiver as far as what Sat. & Transponder they are tuned to. I'm going to keep monitoring my situation before I decide on what further action I'm going to take! Good Luck!

I'm a DIRECTV Dealer. I received this notification regarding the existing problems with the new Phase III Dishes.
Cal Amp 18"x20" Multi-Satellite Dish Antenna
Some customers have experienced technical difficulties, such as satellite reception loss, with the18"x20" Multi-Satellite dish antenna LNBs manufactured by Cal Amp and sold under the KTI, RCA and Terk brand names. The issue appears when the dish antenna is connected to multiple receivers during cold weather conditions. Cal Amp is replacing the affected LNBs. If a customer experiences problems with their already installed 18"x20" Multi-Satellite dish antenna, please direct them to contact DIRECTV
Customer Service at 1-800-DIRECTV (1-800-347-3288). Our customer service reps will help customers diagnose the problem and will provide a free service call if needed.
I hope this will help you.;)
Also nice to know is the replacement dishes (AU2 for Terk) are somewhat incompatable with newer RCA units with model numbers ending in A.
