Ch 610 (CBSC, used to be CSTV) is part of my package. I was watching, getting ready for the Cornell-Stanford game, when it went to a blackout (727). No local station is carrying the game. Is anybody getting this game on 610?

I have no problem here on Long island, except it's in ugly stretchovision.

Our CBS station is airing their 60 minute 5 PM news hour, and will also do the same at 6 PM. No basketball.

I have OTA capability, and they don't have it on any of their subchannels, nor is it on channel 23 which is their "partner" station.

I thought about resetting my HR-20, but I'm not getting it on my SD receivers either.

Guess I could call DirecTV, but the game will be over before I could get through and get a resolution.

Hey, it's no big deal. After all, isn't Cornell in the NCAA tournament every year?

ncaa.com/mmod is streaming the game, so I'll be able too see the 2nd half. Thanks for the input, folks!

I was watching the game on the web when I thought about CBS College (Formerly CSTV) on 610. Sure enough, it's on there in all its stretch-o-vision glory. It looks better on the web were at least its true widescreen. I don't understand why they even bother to broadcast in HD when all they've ever shown is stretch-o-vision, even when the game is being broadcast in true HD. It's easily one of the worst HD channels out there.

Yup, TBS sucks too. I was surprised they took this approcach, because TNT looks great. At least they did broacast the baseball playoffs in true HD. But getting back to CBS College… what's their excuse? It's a sports network with actual HD content.
