My local CBS channel uses the -2 sub-channel for broadcasting a second NCAA tourney game. I don't believe this -2 sub-channel is usually on otherwise. I can get the channel on my two other HD boxes, but not on my HR20. I tried reseting all the antenna channel data, then ran the initial setup again, but I still can't get the channel. Any suggestions on what to do? Thanks.

The DVR doesn't use PSIP data to determine sub channels, Directv maintains a look up database instead. Unless Directv adds the -2 to their system, you won't see it.

That's not exactly correct.
If there is no guide data for a channel it will not appear so if your local CBS affiliate is not providing Tribune Media with guide data for their -2 then D* won't know it's there.

Yes, the OTA information is gathered from the guide data. If Tribune doesn't have the information then you will not get it either and you will not be able to tune to that channel.
Please note this problem in the issues thread for your receiver type (including actual channels and pertinent details) so that DIRECTV will see the information.
