Yes, i did use search, but didnt find what i needed...

i have a sw 42 installed near 2 dishes, one pointing at 119 and the other at 61.5. i came across a 3rd dish (single lnb), thought i could install it pointing at 110, add in a sw21 near the recievers, and be a happy dish 500 subscriber. now on the reciever i want to see 110 on, i see only 119 all xponders and 110 only half xponders. no 61.5 at all. i have read that the switches work best if near the reciever (for longer runs of coax anyway) but the sw42 is near the peak of my 2 story and so are the first 2 dishes. my 3rd dish is on my cband pole in the back yard until spring, and the sw21 is 10' from the reciever.

just a thought, could it be that the sw42 is getting its power from the dual reciever and not the tripple? need help please!

Did you do a "Check Switch" after installing the SW21?

BTW, I think the SW42 needs to be on 119/110 and 61.5 on the SW21 for this to work.

yes, check swithch revealed the all of 119 and half of 110, and no 61.5. yes, all the pics i have seen show 119/110 with the sw42 and 61.5 with the sw21. but i thought 'isnt a bird a bird?'

NO ! - At least in this case., what you're doing is simulating a Dish TWIN LNB - a Dish500 so's to speak.

In your case, I think you would be better off to get another Dual LNB (for 110) and an SW64.

just a bit of interseting info... i swapped the cables going into the sw21, and walla! both 119/110, but none of the 61.5. gotta get the ladder, dang!
btw, there is more on dish 110 than i thought...
