Did anyone else have blackouts of games and channels from this weekend's NCAA tournament games? Channels 703 (SD) and 707 (HD) were blocked with error 727. At times, individual channels were blocked during games as well with the same message.
D* customer service was split on the cause. Some C/S told me that I should be receiving the games and that there was a technical issue blocking these broadcasts. Other C/S said that it was CBS decision on which games to show.
I live in Phoenix and none of the games or teams were local. So contractually it doesn't make sense that they weren't available. I would say of the 24 games this weekend, 6-8 of them were blacked out with a 727 message.
Is this how the D* subscriptions work or did others receive all the games? I eventually got an indirect refund of most of the money paid. But the question is why provide a subscription service that only shows 2/3 of the games promised?
