Just happened to check my TODO list, and I see that "Dancing with the Stars" is ending at 10:02 and was threatening to cancel one of my two scheduled 10PM recordings, on NBC and CBS. Had to make "Dancing" a 2 hour manual record as a result.
Would have been much easier to correct this if we had this Wish List request implemented:
"Negative padding" OPTION. The ability to schedule a recording to start late or end early by "N" minutes.
And if I hadn't checked TODO, I might have been saved anyway by this request, if implemented:
When a scheduled recording's end time will conflict with scheduled recordings in the next time slot, do not cancel any recordings. Record one as a "partial".
