I am thing about singing up for E*, but I also am goong to have my roof replaced soon. Does Dish charge if you have a Dish installed in one place, but then need it moved and re-installed?
There would probably be a $99 fee for doing this. Why not look at other mounting options besides the roof when you get it installed. The facia, deck post or a pole are other options that will not interfere with a roof replacement.

If you need it moved, it is a $99 existing customer installation.
...or you could try to have it installed somewhere where you wouldn't need to move it, like on the side of your house or on an eve. There are even chimney and pole mount options.
Mine is attached to the side of the house below the roof line. I had them do this so if we have a hurricane here the dish is somewhat protected from the winds and will still have a dish after the storm that I could run off a genarator.

I have installed every dish I ever owned. It's not a big deal, anybody with a compass and a torpedo bubble level can do it.
