Last year, we moved from our house in San Francisco to an apartment in LA and took advantage of DTV's moving program -- installation was free, and we just brought our boxes with us. Last fall, we bought an HDTV and had our dish switched to a 5 LNB slimline. Now, as it turns out, we're probably going back to San Francisco -- and to the same house! Will DTV do another free move for us, and update the dish on our house to a 5 LNB unit? Also, our bedroom was wired for only a single line -- we didn't have a DVR there. Will DTV add the second line for a DVR (I'd get a second HD DVR for that room)?

I believe for the movers connection to be free again you have to wait 12 months from the last time you used it.

I agree with Mike. I think you used to could get two movers connects in a year, but now it is only one. I'm not 100% on this, though.
The HD upgrade is different from the movers program, so you should be good to go if it has been more than a year since the move from San Fran. If it has been less than 12 months, only the csr that sets up your workorder can tell you for sure.

JoeI'll get the wrong locals and, of course, the bill is being sent to my apartment in LA. I may just wait until it's a year.
If the same dish is there, there is no cost to change your service if the dish is in place and you're changing locations. My understanding of the movers program is that it is to get a new dish at the new location and D* wants you to leave the dish behind so the next person is pre-wired.
Move your address and location, then call and say you want a HD-DVR. The requirements of the HD-DVR will get them to upgrade your dish to the 5 LNB and cable run if possible. (That plus a new 2 year commitment)
