MASN and MASN2 is carrying the O's and the Nats. I have Choice Extra if I switch to Choice will I still get both these channels?

If you have the sports pack and EI you should get both. In order to watch the O's last night (and tonight) tune to channel 671.

Go to this page and put in your zip code. It will tell you what you get without EI.

If you get MASN you'll get MASN2. All MASN2 is is really an alternate channel to MASN that is used to show whichever game either the O's or Nats that isn't on MASN. You'll notice during times in which both games are going on that MASN2 is nothing but a black screen.

As JayDog08 said if you receive MASN you will also receive MASN2 and MASN HD.

You would only get MASN2 on 671 if there is an O's game on. Next showing I see on 671 iws Monday at 3 of the Seattle at Baltimore and then on Thursday night at Texas.

No, Nationals as well. The Nationals and Orioles territories are exactly the same. That was the agreement when the Nationals moved to DC.

I was at the Nats game yesterday and figured I'd go ahead and DVR it on MASN HD 626-1. I cam home and sure enough I had the game, but it looks like SD in quality and the List just shows channel 626.

If I tune directly to 626-1 I get nothing but a black screen and the Guide just says "To Be Announced".

Do I have something screwed up or is something screwed up with MASN/MASNHD? I know that when I watched other games on Comcast on MASNHD the picture was *MUCH* better.

Only select games are in HD on MASN (40 each for Nationals and Orioles). 626-1 will only be on when the game is in HD. 626 is SD.

However, the game that was on 626-1 and was supposed to be HD (they kept calling it that) on Tuesday was stretched SD. Two other games have been on in HD (Orioles Opening Day and one other Nationals game). They were actual HD.

LlamaLarry, as Tony said only 40 games each for the O's and Nat's will be in HD this season. Here are their schedules and it will show what games are in HD..........

So they have HD equipment but only broadcast some of the games in HD? Is there some sort of technical reason or costs related?

I have my DVRs set for native resolution/format and it picture was pretty distorted until I manually switched it to pillar box. The original format coupled with SD picture was pretty disappointing.

OTOH, the new stadium looks great in real life, even sitting in the rain. :D

Thanks guys.
