501 Guide Problems

Ever since the last software download, my guide has not been downloading the info the way it used to. My guide will not download unless it is on the last day of info, and then it still will not download properly. I did not have this problem prior to the last software download. Is anybody else having this problem?

Also, is dish going to begin charging for pvr usage?

1. Pull your card wait a minute or two then reinsert it. This will make it reset and should fix your problem.

2. No, Dish is not charging for PVR use nor has there been anything to indicate that they would.

They are charging on the dishplayers (7100, 7200) but not the 501, 508, 721 models.
