Remote Question

My mother-in-law has several 301's and the remote looks like my 4900 remote except it's not UHF. I like the fact that she could control the TV & VCR. I have some old 2700's and would like to replace the remotes since I can't control anything but the TV volume. Will the 301 remote work with the 2700/2800? Allowing me to control the Sat/TV/VCR. If you want to work the volume through the receiver you will need to make sure that you set the tv to code 222 for the receiver. The 301's does not have a volume control through the receiver. You can set the aux to the tv in which you want to control if you still want tv operation.
