Those with a ExpressVu or StarChoice mini-dish, Canadian cable, US near border cable or OTA may want to check out CBC TV's coverage (http://www.cbc.ca/ecma) of the 15th ECMA's Sunday night at 8pm local time in each timezone(coast to coast).

CBC Radio Two will also simulcast the ECMA's at 8pm local time coast to coast. You can also listen online CBC Radio Two (http://www.cbc.ca/radiotwo) ....I expect the online feed will start at 8pm EST

I really wish one of the US networks would carry this!!

I listened last year to the webcast on CBC2.

I visited Halifax a couple of years ago and loved it!!! I got to see the Sons of Maxwell in concert and have been hooked on the music from the area ever since.

I used to be able to see the "Live at 5" program from ATV when I had a Dishnetwork receiver looking at Nimiq. I added a 6000 for HDTV last summer and had to take down my two channel "Canadian system".

Is ExpressVU channel 199 still in the clear?

IMO DirecTv+ Dish should be broadcasting CBCTV anyway.....It seems kinda twisted that Canadian mini-dish clients have easy access to US OTA nets (I have three sets-Spokane, Seattle+ Buffalo) while US folks can't even watch CBCTV on mini-dish. :rolleyes:

CBC has a huge budget, airs almost all of their own programming and would be a fine addition to DirecTv+ Dish.

BTW....I see that "Radio Free ECMA" is broadcasting today at 88.9FM in Halifax today + online at the official East Coast Music Awards site www.ecma.ca :rolleyes:
