Watching the Yankees game the other night on YES HD when some thunderstorms moved into the area. The picture began to freeze, so I thought I would switch to the YES SD channel. I have the SD channels hidden in the guide. Since YES HD is channel 622, and YES SD is also 622 (not 622-1 or anything like that) how do you switch between them when the SD version is hidden? I had to un-hide the SD versions, and scroll to it in the guide to get it to tune in. Is there an easier way??

I don't think so honestly. I think you are stuck having to do that. Kinda a downfall to hiding I wish there was a way to tune to the SD channel if needed without un-hiding them.

+1 Maybe it could be added to the wish list?

Why ask for it as a future enhancement?

Anyone with a brain, or at least a user of the HD service would have known this was a likely viewing scenario and they could have programmed it in easily......default to SD when a "searching for sat message" lasted longer than 10 seconds or some other programmed delay. Or default to SD after XX seconds of incorrect or lack of buffered data on an MPEG4 channel.

Hey DTV...give you're workers free HD service so they can know what the heck we are all talking about when we have issues. Not discounted...free. That way they might actually use it and fix these things BEFORE we have to ask.
