Quick SWM Install question

I noticed the paperwork with my SWM8 says the cables from the dish to the SWM should be less than 40 feet. However, I think mine is going to be close to that or a bit over. How detrimental is that "less than 40 feet" figure? Does anyone have an SWM installed with dish to SWM cable runs longer than 40 feet?

Yes mine was with cable about 65' and had no problems.
Do use good cables though.

It's available through various online retailers, I believe, as well as from one of the members here who's been selling them for a couple of months now.

AFAIK, DirecTV is not supplying them to normal home accounts yet.

mine is about 60', no problems here either

Mine is about 65' to 70' from dish to SWM8 and it has been like that since last July with no problems.

Thanks. I've got my SWM, PI, and ground block all mounted in my garage. Patiently waiting for the D* installer to show up....

I'm excited that finally ALL three of my HD TVs will have HD programming! :D

I'll post pictures of my install when it's completed.
