The 5lnb dish provides 4 coaxial feeds, which, without the use of an additional multiswitch can accommodate: 2 DVRs or, 1 DVR and 2 non-dvr receivers or, 4 non dvr receivers. Additional receivers can be accommodated with the use of a Zinwell WB68 mutiswitch: 4 feeds from the dish IN(you don't use the IN Flexports 5&6) and up to 8lines out. Solid Signal has the WB68 for $40.

If you order receivers from DIRECTV that will take you over the limit, they should provide you with a multiswitch as part of the installation. Just make sure you mention it to the CSR so that it doesn't get forgotten.
If you're doing it all on your own, then you'll need to supply the parts, but if you're having DIRECTV do the install you should be all set.

You will need a Zinwell WB68 AT9 Satellite Multiswitch. They sell for around 41.00 bucks or so. Also see if Directv will give you it for free? This switch will let you have 8 ports

yea gonna call them tommrow....cause that needs to be done! and free is good :) what do you think the chances of getting a free hd dvr is? being we have one already and dish is offering them for free for new customers and we have been with them for 7+ years no late bills?
ohhh and do you think when they come out will it cost them more money to realign the dish cause im getting like 70ish % on the new sats.....

They should not charge you for realignment if your signal strength is not what it should be. A relocation of your dish is an extra charge. A free deal is something you work out with a CSR. As a long time subscriber and on time payer , maybe not a total freebie but discounted. Good luck.

Very low as they're selling pretty much all they can make, and they seem to know they're the hot company right now. They're not in a giving mood.
