View Full Version : Is there an "Outdoor Box" that works best for the SWM?

On the side of my house, I have a normal little weather-box for where coax feeds accumulate, before joining the coax lines that enter the house. I just got a SWM-8, and since it's a pretty decent size, I'll need to get another weather enclosure that fits it. Just wondering if someone else has found something that's ideal for SWM-sized stuff.

The SWM can be outside without a weather box as long as the PI (power supply) is inside. Actually the PI needs to be inside period.

So if you do want to put it in a weather box anyway any would be fine.

Yeah, thanks--I was just thinking that with the SWM being as expensive as it is, it would be nice to keep it a bit sheltered in a weather box. Absent any suggestions, I'll take it to Home Depot tomorrow and see what fits.

You could look through their sprinkler timer enclosures. I'm sure one of them would be large enough to accommodate the swm.
