I don't have to worry about finding the right 700 channel anymore...I just confidently record 622 to get the Yanks in HD any night I want (other than My9 games, but who am I to complain?)...fantastic!! Thanks D*
OK, that's it...

+1 A big thank you to D* for bringing us those duel feeds AND increasing the HD feeds in the process.

Most definitely. Great work -- and thanks to Satellite Racer for keeping us informed.

So what happens when its on My9?
I love the dual feeds but you never know what channel or what broadcast they are in the 700's. There are 30 MLB teams just make each team have its own channel. Thats only 4 more channels then they have now. It would be so much easier.

Since they all play each other, you only need 15 channels of actual bandwidth...map them to 30 stable channels.

Not quite. If all 30 games had dual feeds, then you would need 30 channels of bandwidth.
However that is a long ways off at this point. Nor do you actually need bandwidth when the game is not on.
I proposed this:
Each team has its own channel for its feed in alphabetical order.
Atlanta Braves on 721 and 721-1, etc.

Yeah I wish they would arrange them somehow. Right now the games are all over the place and you constantly have to scroll up and down to find the game you want.
I assume you have to subscribe to both EI and the sports package to get all the feeds on the hometeams sports channel. Unless you're looking for a Philly, Toronto, or San Diego home feed you can just use the sports channels to record all the games. I'm amazed that I'll be able to see virtually every RedSox game in HD on NESN from now on.

Nope you don't need Sports pack just EI.

Yeah, when it's on My9, you have to put on the 700 channel (which will be the My9 feed). So all you have to do is program 622 each night and if you see it's not on 622, but it IS in the 700's, then you know it's My9 and you pick the 700...but that's rare.

If u don't know which one the 700 channel is for My9, then record both if u have dual tuners and delete the one that's not the Yanks broadcast.

According the the DirecTV baseball schedule website the dual feeds are no longer. Is that true?

That is my biggest complaint so far. No rhyme or reason as to where they are located in the package.

Interesting...just checked out the schedule on the D* and it looks like you're correct. I wonder, though, if we'd be able to get the feed not listed in the 700's by tuning to the appropriate RSN?

The webpage is only showing one feed per game but the guide on the DVRs are showing dual feeds.
We will see tonight but I would think it is just a programming error on the webpage.
Correction: The schedule under the sports subscriptions only shows one feed but the web page guide (from the front page) shows more than one for several games.
